2 Dirt Devil F5 Washable Vacuum Filters Fit Dirt Devil F5 Filter For Scorpion Hand Vacs Models 08200, 8201, 08210, 08215X & More; Replaces Dirt Devil Part # 3-DEA950-001 (3DEA950001); Designed & Engineered by Crucial Vacuum

Identical to filter in my new Scorpion
The price is very good for TWO filers. I received the two filter plastic bag the same day as my new red Scorpion. I am not giving this product five stars because there were no instructions as how to clean it. I had noticed when viewing other filters for the Scoprion that it said the filter was washable. What does washable mean? Under the faucet, washing machine, etc. I had to go to another Dirt Devil, dust cup filter, site on Amazon to read it was washable plus was able to read a review that a lady put it in her washing machine. I do have allergies this time of the year and using a damp paper towel, as another lady recommended, to clean would defeat the purpose, since the motion created by rubbing with a paper towel would send dust into my nose.

I wonder how this would clean in a dishwasher? I could put it in my GE inside the silverware bin that has a flap cover for some light items not to bounce around. I will review later if the filter comes out all right from a...

A little flimsy
These work fine, but they are a little flimsy and have to be changed quite often for the best suction from the dirt devil scorpion.

love the clean up
just rinse out under arunning kithen tap with warm water...simple air dry and good to go for a million and one chumbs and dust

Anion Air Purifier with LED night light. This newest Ionic Air Purifier, Anion Ionizer, Air refresher cleaner with SGS Test Report of Ion detected range: 1 - 1,236,000 single/c.c.. Designed in Japan. This direct plug-in Purifier for your home or office recharges your mind and body while eliminating odors, dust and pollen. Anion (negative charged ion).

It Works for Me
I bought this one because it was the only air purifier I found that used negative ions, didn't produce ozone or have a lot of negative comments. My wife suffered from allergies daily before we bought this product and since then has had maybe two or three bad days in the two months since we bought it. I plugged it in at the kitchen island across from the sink. The garbage pail is under the sink behind two doors. When the garbage doesn't get taken out right away or dishes are allowed to remain in the sink too long it would start to smell. Since I put this air purifier nearby I would say it has reduced the smell during those times by 95%. I can't say that I have noticed any great improvement in my mood or anyone else's but they haven't gotten worse. The only negative is the night light is too bright for my liking. It is a distraction when we want to watch TV and that eliminates many of the places in the downstairs area where I would otherwise put it. Even so, knowing what I know...

Air Purifier
It's easy to use and makes me feel comfortable. Having the LED light is a plus. It turns on when it's too dark and shuts down when it's bright enough. I have a big air purifier that cost me over a hundred dollars and I feel this one works just as good.
Overall, I'm satisfied with this product.

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, I recommend this Anion Air Purifier
I purchased this item from Amazon a week after my wife read in some magazines about the benefits of negative ions during the winter time. I am a Principal Electrical Engineer, so I wanted to look at some of the proof. After reading some of the articles claiming the benefits of negative ions, there is science backing the idea up. However, there are some things you have to realize with this product. It is not a magic cure. I did not smell any "after rain" smell, nor did this make me miraculously happy. What it has done consistently is improve my mood. Emphasis on IMPROVE. My job is very stressful, and when I get home, pluging this in next to a humidifier. Most nights I found myself in a better mood than without. It took the edge off. It did not make me happy, but it took the edge off the stress. As a result, my family have been happier for the past week. Alo the LED light is super powerful, and I am very enjoy this product. Hope this helps you.

Air King PWC8R Professional Hood Wall Cap, 8 Inch Round

Not a spring-loaded damper, but good if you don't need it
I called AirKing customer service and they confirmed that there is no spring in this vent. It seems well made with heavy gauge metal, but I could see a problem with wind making that noise like other reviewers mentioned. I guess you can put some foam weatherstripping or equivalent to stop the noise if you experience any. I also ordered the Broan-Nutone 641. I will edit this review once I get it to compare the two.

Maybe my rating is unfair because I don't think the description mentioned that it was spring loaded, and maybe the designers felt that the spring would be problematic over time. So if you only want a gravity damper, then you won't go wrong with this product.

EDIT 8/25/11: I just got the Broan 641 (for 6" round duct) wall cap. Now this is a thing of beauty. Full weatherstripping around entire damper for no noise and a gentle spring to keep damper closed. Might be a touch lighter guage metal than the Airking, but I'm going to go with the Broan...

Nice Wall Cap But Missing Parts Or Design Issue
I ordered this wall cap because it's hard to find 6" wall caps in the hardware stores. The first one I ordered was missing a spring or "spring wire" to help keep the damper closed. Most wall caps have a stiff wire that goes from the damper to the hood to act like a spring to keep the damper closed when not in use. Otherwise it will hang open letting bugs and critters in. These in particular stay slightly ajar due to their "hinging mechanism". Also whenever the wind blows it will just slap around make a noticeable sound since it's metal. The damper has a hole in the center which I assume was meant for the spring, unless it's a tooling hole. So I sent this one back and got another one, and sure enough the one I got was missing the spring as well. So I contacted Air King directly and talked to their parts department to make sure it was supposed to have something to keep the damper closed when not in use. They talked to their engineering department and according to them ALL wall...

Effective vent - minor rattle in high winds
The wall vent is easy to install and allows great air flow. It is connected to a new Samsung Microwave and provides much more airflow than a powerful hair dryer. It is hard to find these 6 inch vents now that home construction has slowed. None of the majors or local hardware stores carry this type anymore. The flap closes when the vent fan is off and keeps out flying insects.
One minor issue with this type of vent is a minor rattle when a strong wind blows the auto closing flap. A strong spring could prevent that rattle but would reduce air flow.

General Electric WB02X10956 Charcoal Filter

GE Microwave Charcoal Filter
The GE Microwave Charcoal Filter arrived on time and well packaged. It is constructed well, matter of fact I think better than the authentic filter. And, I can't forget excellent price -- It really met my expectations.

DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. WRONG PRODUCT; WRONG P/N, WHICH THEY PROVIDED; WRONG PHONE NUMBER TO CALL FOR C/S. THEY HAD NO CLUE. I GOT MY REFUND BUT HAD TO PAY TO SEND THE WRONG PRODUCT BACK. IF THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST PURCHASE ON AMAZON, IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MY LAST!!

As good as you would expect
I bought to replace the charcoal filter for my GE Profile microwave. This fit perfectly and installed easily. No issues.

The Sharper Image 8217 Super Wave Oven Halogen, Infrared & Convection Tech 1300watt 16 Quart

My New Preferred Cooking Appliance
Like any tool or appliance, you will need to "learn" how to use it correctly. The week that I bought this, I cooked:

* a leg of lamb;
* a ham;
* a whole roasting hen;
* chicken wings, thighs, and drumsticks;
* pork spare ribs;
* Texas style ribs;
* bacon;
* asparagus;
* tomatoes.

Most of the time, the portions are too small to justify firing up the oven/range or to hop outside and clean then get the charcoal grill going. So, if I need to bake, broil, "grill", or roast, I use our new Super Wave Oven. I like this appliance and use it more than I do our oven and the small convection toaster oven.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT:

* does not burn what it is I am cooking;
* does not fill my house with the smell of burning grease;
* cooks very quickly and evenly;
* no burnt-on grease (carbonized grease);
* easy to use;
* almost a "set-it-and-forget-it" cooking...

Won't last long...
I loved this oven for the one month that I had it before the fan stopped working. The bad news is that when I contacted the company they said that I had to send the oven back at my own expense. This appliance is not light. When I questioned why I should have to invest any more in their defective product, they said that they didn't offer free return shipping to Amazon customers...only to customers who purchased directly from them. Hey Amazon...sure you want to carry this product?

Excitement to anger in 123 days
I was so excited to have received the Super Wave oven as a Christmas gift.

THE GOOD:
No preheating necessary. Great for quick lunches.
Roasted veggies came out great.
Frozen convenience foods (pizza rolls, egg rolls, quesadillas) came out as desired.
The whole chicken that I roasted was moist and flavorful. It cooked in about 40 minutes.

THE BAD:
Deceptively advertises that food retains moisture. NOT true of all foods, even when using the scanty selection of recipes included with the oven.
Difficult and cumbersome to clean.
Stopped working after 123 days...and I had to pay $25 to send it back to 400 Returns Road, Wallingford, CT (if a company has a street named after it "Returns Road", that should be a clue to steer clear).

THE WORST:
The customer service number included in the box redirected me to two different telephone numbers before I could reach a human...and quite possibly the rudest human on the east...

George Foreman GRP2841R 5-Serving Removable Plate Grill with Variable Temperature

Great removable plate grill for 2 servings
Purchased May 2013 at W--mart for under $60. At this price you get a good grill to cook two burgers, steaks, etc.

Grills are easy to remove for dishwasher -- wish they offered more than just the standard crosshatch top / ridge bottom grills. Maybe someday?

UPDATE 6/6/13: Great news! I took a chance and ordered the shallow flat plate grill George Foreman GFP84GP Evolve Grill 84-Square Inch Shallow Griddle Accessory Pan and it fits perfectly! This will allow cooking of flat items like fish filets that rally don't need a ribbed surface. Other 84 square inch replacement grills such as the deep pan and cupcake insert MAY also fit. The top crosshatch grill is a slighty different size to overfit the others, so only the bottom grill in 'optionable' as far as I know.

I'm upgrading my rating to 5 stars having cooked weiners, bratwurst, steaks, cubed steaks, hamburgers, fish, and...

Could be better
The George Foreman GRP2841R grill is ok but not one of the better George Foreman grill products. I've owned better and still do. I was looking for a more compact version of the 5-year old one that I currently own. I may have to keep looking. I'll just get to the positive and negative things that I found with this product.

Pros:
- Attractive design
- The grill plates allow for a surprisingly wide cooking area for such a semi-compact grill.
- Of course, the removable grill plates.
- The adjustable cooking hinge which makes it easier to cook thick food items.

Cons:
- I wish this grill had a temperature control that actually read out the temperature instead of a slider that slides from "min" and "max" levels. It takes quite a bit of trial and error to figure which adjustment will work for whatever I'm putting on the grill.
- Not as non-stick as it should be. Older grill plates seemed to have been much smoother and easier to clean. Even...

Decent Economy Level Foreman
This is my third George Foreman grill, having started with one of the early models, then moving up to a larger grill with removable plates. This model works well and I particularly like that it has an adjustable heat setting. Although I would have preferred that it have some heat level indicator beyond "Minimum" and "Maximum", it is an improvement over having only on or off with only one high heat setting (as in the other two models I've owned). It is nice to be able to slow down the cooking process for some foods. I very much like that it has the removable plates, which makes it much easier to clean.

For a relatively low priced grill, the GRP2841R offers quite a few features, such as the variable temperature setting, removable plates and a pretty red color. However, it feels like a little lower quality than my last grill. The mechanism for the removable plates seems a little less solid and the slide that changes the heat setting feels a bit flimsy. This grill...

Waring MBB518 Professional Quality Food & Beverage Blender, Stainless Steel

Has Stood the Test of Time!
I bought it based on other reviews, after our previous blender broke. We use it to make smoothies with frozen fruit. Our last blender was a Black & Decker from Target for $40. Both the B&D and the Waring have glass bowls and stainless steel bases. But the B&D has a larger capacity and a heavier, larger base. The Waring is 300 watts and the cheaper B&D is rated at 500 watts. The next surprise was reading the instructions for the Waring. There is no mention of putting the container bowl in a dishwasher; instead one is supposed to 1) brush out with soapy water, 2) run for 2 minutes with more soapy water, 3) rinse for another 2 minutes, and finally 4) dry with a towel. Next surprise: according to the instructions, the blender should never be operated without holding one's hand on the top. There's a reason for this: the blender tends to "walk" around the countertop (something the B&D, with its larger base, never did). Fortunately, with a full load the Waring stays in place. We...

The Original Is Still The Best!
I've owned a dozen blenders over the past 30 years. They all had their advantages and disadvantages, as does this one. When I tote up the pro's and con's, Waring still stands on top for me.

My first blender was an Osterizer in the early seventies when I was in college. It was a good machine for drink blending, but was frustrating for foods. If you look closely at the Oster container, the blades sit in an area recessed from the main container. No problem for liquids, but semisolid things such as peanut butter will jam down in there. I found that I constantly had to use a spatula to help dressings, dips, etc. blend.

When the Kitchen Aid blender was first introduced, I bought one. It was a real disappointment from the start. No matter how much I ran items, they never got uniformly smooth! I can remember running canned tomatoes, for instance, for several minutes and still they did not puree evenly. I kept it for about 6 months and gave it to one of my employees...

Exceptional Blender
The Waring Professional Bar Blender is all the blender I will ever need. Smoothies are now easy to whip up and a snap to clean up. To top it off, the stainless steel model I purchased looks great on the countertop. The motor (390 watts) has plenty of power for crushing ice and making frothy drinks. Waring blenders exude high quality.

Certainly there are more powerful blenders. Vita-Mix and Waring's Mega Pro are two such examples. Nevertheless, one would be hard pressed to justify the added expense of either machines for the average home. Kitchen Aid puts out a slightly more powerful blender (500 watts). But I have used both and for my money, Waring produces more consistent results for a wide variety of blending applications.

The cloverleaf glass jar is sturdy and easy to clean. I had some reservations about buying glass with a stainless steel version available but to my surprise, I actually prefer it. It is often necessary to have the contents visable(not possible with the...

Tuscan Walnut Comfort Furnace XL Infrared Heater

Very Satisfied!
I bought one of these last year and am so satisfied with its performance that I just purchased a second. We had a warm winter on Long Island last year and I was able to rely on the Comfort Furnace almost completely to heat my large apartment. I kept it downstairs in the living room, so the bedrooms upstairs stayed a bit cool. It doesn't look like we are going to have such a mild winter again, so I purchased the second for the upstairs.
I read somewhere that the heater only costs about a $1.20 per day to run and I would say that is approximately accurate based on last winter's electric bills. It has to be cheaper than burning fuel oil at $4.00 a gallon!

Does very well.
This 1500 Watt heater works very well for me I use one downstairs of a 2500 Sq ft. home and it is perfect for supplemental heat. Hardly ever need the Gas furnace. Electric bills hardly ever go over $150.00 a month. Normally about $125 in the winter. Great product,I just purchased my 3rd one for my business. I think they are as good as the other namebrand Edenpure. And paid about 100.00 less for the same Quartz technology for a 1500 Watt unit.

best buy
We love it... Keeps our 38 ft rv nice and toasty. Last year we bought a oil heater and froze, our furnace was constantly running and we were going thru the propane.

Cheap, rip do not buy
Bought 6 packages of these because Sears was all out. They are not worth one cent. They are poorly made and rip very easily. I put new filters in our vacuum only to find they were ruined because the bag ripped after we started using the vacuum cleaner.

Cheaper than brand name and they look it
I bought these vacuum bags online because they were less expensive than the Kenmore bags at the local Sears store. But as soon as I opened the bag to use one, I realized the savings wasn't worth it. For some reason, these bags don't install easily in the canister and they are hard to remove as well. As soon as I use them up I'm going back to the Kenmore canister bags.

Excellent bag
Very good at filtering dust. Very easy to change. I have 2 dogs that shed a lot and I don't get the odor build up in this bag.

DeLonghi ESAM3300 Magnifica Super-Automatic Espresso/Coffee Machine

One of the Best Super Automatics Out There for the Price
I have the EAM3200, which is the previous model version. The differences are slight but noticeable to the newer. These machines are the best in class for price and performance, produce a great espresso, and are maintainable in ways that other manufacturers models are not. The coffee from the Delonghi is just as good as from Jura and even some manual models such as Expobar and Rancillo. It is very close to what you find in Italy - not quite, but for the price it is worth it. Great crema, hot temperature, rich flavor. And the best part is you can pull out the brew mechanism and clean it - VERY key. This will ensure sound operation and function for many years.

In order to keep this machine is fine working order, you need to do a bit of upkeep each week and use the right beans.

1. Only use non-oily, 100% Arabica beans. If you use oily beans it will clog frequently and attract rancid flavors. It will also shorten the life of the machine. I use Illy, but any espresso...

Great coffee, build quality problems
[This review applies to the Magnifica 3200, this is the same as the 3300 with slight cosmetic differences.]

I bought this machine in 2006 after an almost-endless trawl through the internet reading owners' reviews - after all, we are talking about the search for the perfect espresso here!

The coffee quality is indeed great. The only misgivings I would have about using it are that the knobs have no user markings, which means that if there are several people in the house using the machine, it is impossible to select the previously-selected individual settings. Also, the time before the machine performs an auto-switchoff is fixed at about three hours. I couldn't find the power comsumption in the user manual when in "idle" mode, but I think it must be substantial since it keeps the boiler/cup-preheater hot during this time. Not that the preheater is any use - I warm my cups by first wetting them and then putting them in the microwave for 30 seconds.

Nearly perfect.
Now, after six years...

The machine does develop leaks... I ordered a couple of sizes of silicone O-rings and spring clips from McMaster-Carr and go in a couple of times a year to replace them. I should find a size that works better. We also had to replace the original gear-driven grinder when it wore out completely. The newer design belt driven grinder is SO MUCH quieter!! It's worth repairing this machine is it gets older. It still makes amazing espresso and coffee.

This is an update after three years of using our Magnifica.

We bought our Magnifica after using a similar machine while visiting friends in Germany. We have been using it for over 3 years now, and are still quite happy with it. My wife and I both drink a lot of coffee -- tall Americanos most of the day. I am a full time telecommuter, so I will average 3-5 a day in winter, 2-4 in summer. We also love being able to fill a couple of 16 oz. insulated cups before leaving on a road trip...

Kitchen Supply Toaster Oven Non-stick Cookie Sheet

Yep, they are small cookie sheets!
Just what I wanted! I have a boyfriend who comes around often to collect his handout of chocolate chip cookies (he actually bought me the toaster oven!). So glad I found these! Get more than one, because your cookie recipients will want a double recipe!

Works great in the toaster oven
I use it almost everyday to cook a variety of things from chicken nuggets and fries to cookies. Food cooks evenly on it and it's easy to wash and store.

Sous Vide Supreme PSV-00144 Promo Pack Cooking System

End of week one, and very happy
I've owned this for one week now, and must say I'm very happy. I've been thinking about buying the Sous Vide cooker for several months, but hesitated because of the price. I must say I've been impressed! The first thing I tried was to cook the "perfect egg". I never cooked a perfectly poached egg while it was still in the shell - but it works. The next thing I tried was a rib-eye steak. I always thought of myself as a master while in front of a BBQ, but this has made things too easy for me. You cook a steak to perfection every time, and finish it off with 30 seconds each side in a hot pan, or on a hot grill. Because you can hold the steak at the perfect temperature without over cooking it, you decide when you're ready to serve it.
The next day I tried cooking carrots. I don't eat a lot of carrots as I find them a bit boring, and lack flavour on their own. I threw them into the vacuum bag with only a small pad of butter. They came out as the most flavourful carrots I...

Great deal - in love.
I was willing to buy a sous vide gear / gadget for a while and this one was my first choice every time I did a research about it. Last time I decided to get this promo pack and I must say - this is great. First, the price = great for the pack! Besides it's not very easy to vide this specific vacuum sealer standalone.

The system works great, it's really good for poultry, meat, fish, pork - never tried with vegetables to be honest. The food is always tender and you'll be addicted to make new experiments with different temperatures and time, that's I bet.

Easy to clean, hard to storage - it's huge!

The cook book is ok, nothing special - never tried any recipe there.

Be prepared to get more bags fast, it comes with a small amout of them. Quick tip: you can cut them in smaller pieces if you are cooking small pieces!

Absolutely Fabulous
Meat comes out perfectly every time, and now that all meats are pricey, near perfect is not an option. Meat is juicy and flavorful never bland or dry. It's easy to operate and saves time. More importantly I can have a glass of wine before dinner and toast a great meal.

GE Refrigerator Dispenser Auger WR17X11705 NEW

Great factory replacemet!
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS PART & SELLER!!!
I ordered this item after I found a broken piece of plastic in with ice cubes dispensed. I did my research on the GE website to make sure this was the right part, and it was. This item is a direct replacement part for GE or Hotpoint ice-maker dispenser. Replacing it was not hard. Just keep in mind that when removing the old one, there is only a plastic nut holding the auger & blades in position, AND THIS NUT IS REVERSE THREAD! So make sure to be careful when removing it, and keep all the blades & white washers in position, so you don't forget how they go back on!!! Shipping was fast & item arrived in great condition!!!

Must buy if current auger needs replacing...easy repair!
I noticed a big piece of plastic auger had broke off and was on my cup while getting ice from my GE fridge (model: GSS25WGPA BB). I bought this item and quickly google on how to replace the auger. Luckily, there is a great video on youtube and you may search by typing WR17X11705 and click on the 1st video search you get (approx 13 min long). Just follow it through and 20-25 min later (I was taking my time), you'll have a working and clean (since I decided to clean the insides) ice machine! You won't regret getting this replacement from amazon and save money instead of going through GEappliances, as it's the product you'll get, just cheaper!!!

Saves labor cost and does the job!
If you don't mind the frustration of figuring out the puzzle to replace this part it will save you lots of money in labor cost. BTW... this part is twice a much $$$ elsewhere. Likely why you are here. Tools needed: 3 flat head screwdrivers and 2 pairs of pliers.

Euroflex Monster Replacment Ultra Microfiber Steam Mop Cleaner Pads for Bare Surface Floors and carpet glide - Fits the EZ1, EZ2 and Steam-Jet-II

Cheapest price I could find
We actually got a Euroflex steamer for free from a friend bc she wasn't physically able to use it anymore, she told us "Good luck finding parts for it, it's a QVC special". This was the absolute cheapest price I could find them, at $5 each, and appear to be the exact same pads that came with the steamer- not cheap knock offs. :)

Like Original
These pads are the real thing and do much better than the generic brand which don't hold up to washing.

These ARE definitely cheap knockoffs.
It is a good price, that is true. I wish they were more absorbent, these are definitely handmade cheapie replacements, not name brand.

KitchenAid Diamond Vortex 5 speed Blender- KSB1575ER

Kitchenaid KA 5 speed blender
This blender is outstanding, in just a few seconds you can have a protein shake or whatever you want to blend. I like the fact that the pitcher and base do not have to be taken apart to clean. I really am enjoying this blender and would recommend it. Kitchenaid had created a great product.

over the top
By far the best and most well-built blender we have ever owned. Bought it on the strength of ratings
in The Week Magazine.

Crushes ice like mad
I bought this blender about 3 weeks ago after considerable online research. I saw videos comparing brands like Vitamix, Blendtec, Oster, Ninja, and KitchenAid. When our second cheapie blender stopped working after about a year of very light duty and the desire to start making healthier smoothies and such, I wanted a high quality blender but not sure I was ready to drop $500-$700 on the top of the line blenders. The reviews seemed to say the cheaper KitchenAid KSB560 had trouble with leaking canisters. I don't want to fuss with returns.

This blender is awesome. It crushes ice in about 4 seconds and makes two smoothies in in less than 15 seconds. These protein shakes are mainly fruit and ice and not vegetables (which are tougher) but I don't suspect it would take much longer to turn the ingredients into a no-chunk, very smooth mixture. The only question is durability. I don't think the higher-end blenders could have done better. Really.

Whirlpool WMC20005YW 0.5 Cu. Ft. White Countertop Microwave

I love this little microwave!
I needed a small microwave that would fit into a tight space, and this model was just right. The back is rounded, so it slides into a corner easily. I chose the white model, which is very glossy white and has a clean and sleek appearance. The square shape is unique, and it looks like a television.

The glass turntable is 11 inches in diameter. The back of the interior is also rounded to allow the turntable to fit snugly in place. It's easy to clean inside since the back is rounded, and there are no difficult corners to clean. There is about 6 inches of height from the turntable to the top of the interior.

This microwave offers the unique feature of a lock for the touch screen. This is helpful since the microwave was designed to fit into a tight space, so it is likely that the sensitive touch control panel might get brushed by your hand and accidentally turned on.

It's not super powerful, at only 750 watts, but the extra minute or two of cook time...

my perfect microwave
I just got this microwave, and I love it. It tucks into the corner of my kitchen leaving me some extra counter space, and it looks great. I would go so far as to call it cute. The largest of my dinner plates fits with space to spare, and seeing how everything I microwave is either on a plate or in a mug or measuring cup, I don't have a reason for something bigger. The only two things I'd change: a slightly longer cord and a quieter beep. It can actually be quite loud when you're pressing buttons, so don't expect to do any stealth reheating. As for the power, it takes about two minutes to get a mug of cool tap water hot, which I think is completely within reason for the size. Love it!

Countertop Microwave
I have been using this product for a month now and so far so good. It is what I expected. A small footprint that takes the least amount of space on my countertop. It is taller (heigth) and less wide than the other 700 Watt Microwaves I researched. A normal size plate fits perfectly.

The part worked fine and the you tube video on how to install was perfect ... except ... I only had a broken detergent dispenser door, and I ended up having to purchase an entire assembly, replacing 95% of which was already in working order. I understand this generates revenue, but when will our manufacturers learn that we are using precious resources to create unnecessary material -- and that recycling and reusing, while good, are not better than manufacturing unnecessary materials in the first place.

Whirlpool 8558129 Dispenser Assembly for Dish Washer
I had to take the new and old dispenser apart and swap out the solenoid, as the electrical connections was on both solenoids were different.

Put it all back together and it works just fine, but would of liked to have used the new solenoid. I did save the new solenoid, just in case the old one goes bad and will splice the wires to make it work.

I should not of had to change out the solenoid, it should of been a like for like replacement.

Perfect fit
The dispenser arrived in good shape, fit perfectly, and has functioned flawlessly thus far. Additionally, it was a good price and shipped quickly.

Hario Mizudashi Cold Brew Coffee Pot 600ml MCPN-7B

Never thought I'd love cold coffee
I won't try to be authoritative, as there are loads of great reviews for the 600ml version of the Mizudashi. As others say, this coffee making method result in much lower acidity. In fact, it almost tastes like someone put a few grains of sugar in you cup. I love strong, hot black coffee, so I was really buying this for my wife. Turns out I quickly gained an appreciation for this Japanese style coffee. (If you've been to Japan and had the cold coffe in vending machines, the Mizudashi will bring back memories.) Shop around and you can find these for a great price. Much less than they go for in Japan.

Great for the cold brewer
I've been trying different methods for cold brewing and this is by far the best. No paper filtering is required. All of the directions are in Japanese but that's really not a problem as it's pretty straightforward. But I believe it recommends course ground coffee. I use the drip grind you buy in stores for a few reasons. The super fine mesh catches the most of it. I've found the key is not to stir. Just carefully pour the water over the coffee and let the water soak in. The only drawback for me is that you have to make a certain amount or the coffee won't soak effectively. I only drink a cup a day but a cup of liquid won't reach the inner basket holding the coffee. So I end up making two days worth. But I have found that if I want a smaller amount of coffee, I can fill the filter and set it in a coffee cup, then just pour the water into the basket and let it soak. It works just as well. If you decide to go with this unit, price shop it. Seattle Coffee Gear has it for...

It works, but you may not need it.
Nice looking and works as described, but if you have a French Press, you can do essentially the same thing with the pot, the plunger, the ground beans and cold water. Let it sit (cold) for 24 hours, push down and you have essentially the same result.

Westinghouse Lighting 0110000 Saf-T-Brace for Ceiling Fans, 3 Teeth, Twist and Lock

It will work, once you modify it.
I ordered this brace for a ceiling fan. It seemed like the perfect thing, to insert the brace into a 4" diameter hole, in this case, between ceiling joists at 16" spacing.

So... this is the deal: I have 16" on center spacing of 2x12 joists which are actually a little narrower than 2". This leaves a little more than 14" open space between the joists... get it? The brace is 14" at it's smallest, therefore it could not be inserted between the joists at an angle... it's too wide. I can't go all the way above the joists with the brace to make it level and pull it down in this installation, there is flooring above the joists. Even if I could do that, the idea of no breathing room for the brace is very odd. Only option for me was to carefully cut off 2" of the square metal tube, re-insert the threaded cast metal plug, cut off 2" of the screw-rod, reassemble the thing... then guess what? It worked. Someone at Westinghouse didn't think this one through..... But on the...

Perfect for reinforcing your ceiling fan
If you have a home like ours where the light boxes are not supported by the joists, this is a perfect solution. Say goodbye to ceiling fans that wobble and "click" when they turn. This product takes care of that problem.

A great product
This is a great well designed and well made product. Once the old box was out (which was not so easy), the support bar and box were easily installed from inside the room and my formerly wobbly, noisy, and in-danger-of-falling fan was secure and quiet.

Dr. Grabow Pipe Filters

good dry smoke
The paper filters prevent condensation from returning to the pipe bowl, providing a nice dry smoke. Seems to take the rough edges off the tobacco too.

Smoker's Pleasure
I'm a pipe smoker and require a smooth smoke unhindered by the bite of some tobaccos. This product supplies the means for that smoothness as well as the bite free pipe smoking enjoyment we all look for. I use these filters more than twice a day and find the cost to be reasonable and efficient. My buying from this media has also found me to get the product easily and quickly. Just buying this quantity saves me trips to local smoke shops and thus gas money and wear and tear on my vehicle.

Great
I bought a box of filters to go with my new Pipe. AS always. The filters do the job. A must have if you puff on a pipe.

COOK'S CHOICE CKC1000 Better Breader Bowl

Works great, easy to clean
I've got one of those large, round breading items that take up too much space and don't fit the top shelf of the dishwasher. This one fits easily, cleans well, and snaps closed to eliminate flying flour. An excellent, inexpensive product.

Flour shower
I'm writing this as I take a break before I clean up the flour that is now coating me, my kitchen and even my dogs. I bought this and the Batter Pro at the same time since I couldn't decide which one I'd like better. For making breaded chicken wings I used this for the flour step and the Batter Pro for the bread crumbs. No matter how hard I tried to close it the Cook's Choice breader leaked flour all over. The Batter Pro was nice and easy to use and not a crumb out of place. Plus you actually get 2 breaders when you buy the Batter Pro. Don't waste your money-just buy the Batter Pro or use a plastic bag.

almost perfect
I do about 5 'big' (serving 6-15 people) fish fry's a year. Also make buffalo chicken wings for small gatherings a couple times a year.
I've used 3 different breaders over the last 5 years, and in my opinion, this one is the best of the lot. There's a 'red' circular one out there that I don't like at all (takes too much work to open and close the container, and the breading holes are at the same time too large, and there aren't enough of them).

As a couple other reviewers have noted, the cover on this one is the only possible improvement I can see. It's very nice that it pops off so crisply and easily, but you DO have to be extra careful to make certain that the cover is COMPLETELY snapped down, all the way around, before you start the shaking. It often looks/seems like it is completely snapped down when in fact it is only 90% snapped down. And then if you start the shaking, and don't keep your thumbs on the cover, you end up with your breading, fish/chicken,...

HOMEIMAGE Stainless steel Electric Wine Bottle Opener HI- 48F1

My first wine opener
I really love this electric corkscrew. Finally, I don't need to run around finding that sharp manual corkscrew that I can't seem to pull out the cork right because it always too hard or will pull out half of the cork. The blue LED lights up when I charge it and when I use it. Really high quality stuff I must say. I think everyone should get one.

Best wine opener
This wine opener is so easy to use on regular or synthetic corks. Just put the opener over the bottle, push the button and...voila! Your cork comes out. Then just push the button to remove the cork from the opener. I've given this as gifts and bought myself one using an Amazon gift card I got for Christmas. Love it!

Great
I got this as a gift for my hubby. He and I both love it. It's very nice looking with its blue light and stainless steel and it works very well.

Rome's Chestnut Roaster and Fireplace Popcorn Popper, Steel with Wood Handle

Chestnut roasters are hard to find.
Worked okay, but not really heavy duty enough for an open fire. The grommets on handle melted off during the first use, but were easily replaced with machine screws and nuts. The wooden handle on top tends to catch on fire and the metal clasp on front comes off a little too easily. With that said, though, we have had a lot of fun roasting chestnuts for our neighbors and friends and we plan to make it a neighborhood tradition for Christmas.

Rome's Chestnut Roaster - It works
Quite simply, it does the job but it is a bit flimsy. A minor thing was the knob was not pre-drilled properly so the knob didn't screw on all the way. Also, the handle could stand to be a bit longer. It got us thru the night but if you are a diehard roaster, invest in a heavy-duty one.

A Hot Mess!!
I had to throw this away - i bought it to try in my fire place. I used it once and all the black coating came off!!! The popcorn was even covered in it. I just threw it out

Magcraft NSN0802 1/2-Inch by 1/8-Inch Rare Earth Disc Magnets, 14-Count

Incredibly Strong & Very Useful magnets
I purchased these magnets primarily for detecting counterfeits of collectible coins and gold bullion.

Most genuine U.S. coins are not magnetic at all (one exception is the 1943 steel penny) and some fake gold bullion bars (and maybe fake coins too) have a steel core. All steel is mostly iron which will always stick to a magnet. Silver and Gold are not magnetic so most coins and all bullion will NOT be pulled by or stick to a magnet. A 1943 Lincoln penny passes or fails a magnet test in the opposite way.

I intend to use only 4 to 7 of these magnets together as a cylinder for that purpose and use the others for some other useful purpose. They are much stronger than other types of magnets and will hold any paper to a refrigerator easily (2nd practical use).

They are incredibly strong for their size and are a little difficult to separate. I recommend that you keep them in the original container when not in use, because they will snap to any steel,...

They really mean "Super-Strong"
I was leading a group arts and crafts project which required a magnet. I thought due to the size it would be just a normal little magnet, but it was almost like a cartoon trying to use them! First, it was REALLY hard separating them. Then our watches, keys, pens, notebook binders, jewelry and nearby metal dishes and cutlery (I'm not kidding!), and any and all other things metallic, would get stuck to them and were very hard to pull back off. Once you managed to get it off, it would almost invariably get immediately stuck to something else next to you. It was actually quite hilarious seeing a room full of 12 people each going through all these same motions. It literally looked like an SNL skit!

The warning on the label says to keep them away from pace-makers and "do not eat". I'm certain they would indeed short out a pace-maker. Considering how funny it was trying to work with them while getting stuck to everything in the vicinity, we decided to seriously heed this advice...

Perfect for a stainless steel refrigerator
Previously I bought the 3/4" x 1/8" magnets and they are incredibly strong, in fact too strong for my fridge front. Most of my magnets won't stick to the front of my stainless steel fridge at all and it's always bothered me. Now though thanks to $10 getting me 24 of these little guys I simply wrip off the old magnetic backing and glue these on or just glue these straight to the magnets. Although these are small they are still incredibly strong and one can easily hold up a multipage brochure on the stainless front. Nice.

I used Gorilla Super Glue which cured in 30 seconds so they worked great. One thing of note though was the fumes coming off of any excess on the sides will adhere to the fridge face so if you use this glue make sure to let your magnets sit by themselves for at least 24 hours before placing them on your fridge.

Update Feb 21, 2013
Even if you let your glued job cure for 24 hours it will still leave a residue on your refrigerator. I had...

Sportsman MEG300 350-Watt Electric Meat Grinder

Awesome Kitchen Tool!
I purchased this grinder to make dog food as my dog eats a "raw" food diet. It easily grinds beef, chicken with bones, and any other thing I decide to add to her meat mixture. Love the size and different grinding sizes. It has made a 2 hour job a 40 minute one.

It Grinds
So far i am giving 5 Stars but might come back to change (i have done this with other products)

so far i have only ground chicken on the coarse disk to make burgers. i ground chicken together with bread and onions.
NEVER had to use the reverse function as the grinder never stopped or had a hard time. i understand chicken is one of the easiest to grind so its not a perfect test. I will be doing pork later which will have some fat on it, but not too much.

IMPORTANT...
to all the haters out there that rate this product 1-2 stars because you say it rusts..
you MUST either soak the knife and discs in oil or use cooking spray if you have.

if you do not, you have no right to give this product a low ratings. grinder should be rated on its efficiency, sturdiness, appeal, etc, not lack of user experience.

i learned the oil tip by reading the reviews and later by reading INSTRUCTIONS (i was new to grinding)
as far as dishwasher safe...

wonderful
Bought it for a friends christmas gift. He does a lot of his one meat processing and he uses it numerous times and has had it for 2 years now and still works great!

Indus-Tool CLS Cozy Legs Metal Stand

Had to get it!
After discovering that the method of attaching the Cozy Heater to my wall was with sticky little doodads I decided I needed the metal stand instead. I don't feel like scraping off doodads and repainting my wall every year when I put the heater away for the summer. They make a point of not mentioning the doodad method but the stand works fine. They should include the stand with the heater but then they wouldn't be able to suck another sale and shipping charge out of you if they did. Get the stand right away! That way you won't have the heater propped against your wall for a couple weeks waiting for the stand to arrive.

What can you say about metal legs?
I bought the Cozy Legs Radiant Heater Panel and thought that these metal legs were required. Quite frankly, while they work, they really aren't that much of an improvement over what came with the Heater Panel.

Still, they do and adequate job, and they are a tiny bit more aestetically pleasing than the included 'legs.'

My advice - buy these only after you try the included legs.

Poorly constructed.
I used this stand to support my flat heater. It broke at one of the welds. This is very poorly made.

Amico 2 Pcs 5.1" x 4.7" Microwave Oven Repairing Part Mica Plates Sheets

inexpensive micro-wave repair anyone can do
It took less than 5 minutes to repair an otherwise useless, scarey, micro-wave oven. Also with 2 pieces I have a spare or can help out a friend

Wonderful!
I have had my micorwave for 13 years. It is a very good microwave! The panel started coming apart and it sparked and almost caught fire. I really didn't want to spend $100-$150 to replace my microwave and didn't want to buy a little cheap $50 either so I ordered these. They are very easy to cut and work perfect! You will have to wait about 3 weeks for shipping, but to save $95-$145 it was a no brainer for me!!

Works great, cut to size
We were able to replace this piece on a 10+ year old microwave, and much improve the smell within the microwave. The old piece was warn out. Very easy. Thank you for offering this product, I was about to throw out our microwave when I found this option as a last ditch effort.

Swift Green Filters SGF-G9 Refrigerator Water Filter

So far, so good...works great, but question two things
I bought this to use in lieu of the MWF GE SmartWater filters that seem to have gone up 35% in price since I bought my refrigerator 6 years ago. Usually I can find a good deal or an annual GE rebate offer to get SmartWater filters, but not in the past few months when I knew my filter would need replacement. This fits perfectly. You have to push it up with a little more force, and then turn it. I didn't soak it underwater for 15 minutes as directed - I just spent about 1 minute filling it up with water and set it on the counter, came back about 5 minutes later and topped it off, then came back a couple minutes later and installed it. No problems and no air at all.

Two things on the packaging are questionnable.
1) There is no mention of the filter meeting Standard 53, however the filtration of the items covered under that standard are given (with percentage of filtration) on the side of the box. I feel confident in the product since it does actually list the filtration...

Chlorine Wins
I gave this puppy a shot to replace the OEM GE filter. This turned out to be an OMG filter, as it failed to filter the heavy chlorine dose in the water which the local municipality dumped in after the wind storm 6/29/2012. I overnighted a GE OEM and water is clean as a whistle. The Swift filter might be fine now (i.e. maybe it was just a heavy chlorine dump by WSSC), but I am over it for $5 difference every 6 months. Others seem pleased so it may be just me. I was always suspicious when reading about the faster water flow when compared to GE OEM. It does come out faster with Swift (no pun intended).

Works well
I was not sure how this filter would work for me since i had a GE one that came with the fridge. I followed the instructions on the soaking and letting the water run through it and it works just like the GE one. I have not experienced any after taste. The only hurdle i had, was that i needed to apply additional force to insert it into the fridge- i knew that but did not think too much of it untill i had to do it. I will be buying the combo packs next time since it is economical. I also like that it comes from Canada, for once there is something that does not come from China.

Reliance 9001829005 32-Inch Magnesium Water Heater Anode Rod

Worth changing if you want your water heater to last
This product came well packaged and in good condition. The key to this job is an impact wrench, socket, extension, and locking needlenose pliers to remove your old anode rod. I changed mine out at 6 years and it was calcified (useless), but only 30% consumed. The length was the same as the original rod and went in easy (with ptfe tape and ptfe pipe dope). I think inspecting your anode rod is a waste of time. If you take it out, you might as well replace the rod. I also vacuumed out as much sediment from my tank through the lower element hole and replaced the crappy drain valve with a full port ball valve (Will not clog and will actually flush out sediment). So with ~$50 I added years of life to a $750 water heater. It is a good rainy day project for any homeowner.

Best Bang For The Buck
Ordered poduct. This anode bar is 32" long. Worked great. Pulled old one out using 1/2" Craftsman flex breaker bar with 1 1/16" Craftsman 6 Point Socket. Worked great. 5 minute job. Reliance is part of A O Smith who makes several brands including mine (KENMORE). This is 1/2 price of sears parts direct. When teflon taping threads, make sure you only tape top part of threads. Bar has to be grounded to tank to work properly. Check YouTUBE out for videos on how to install. Replace this every couple years and water heater will last forever. Thanks for reading.

Cheaper than replacing a waterheater!
I was surprised to learn recently, that anodes are designed as inexpensive sacrificial substitutes for expensive water heaters. We have very hard water and in 13 years have replaced 4 water heaters (we have one at each end of the house). When researching new water heater replacements and technologies, I came across a DIY article about anodes. I asked a local plumber about it and he confirmed that an anode's sole purpose is to significantly extend the life of a water heater but of course, he didn't carry any in stock. Removed the anode from my 4 year old heater and it looked like cancer or something had almost completely eaten it away. Took it to Home Depot and Lowes but nobody there seemed to know what I was talking about. Decided to search the internet and the first listing was this on Amazon. Did some more checking but eventually just came back and got this thru Amazon. It was an easy 2 minute replacement. I am happy. Only gave it a 4 star because only time will tell if it really...

Whirlpool WHIRLPOOL 8531233 SILVERWARE BASKET

It's a silverware basket....
What can I say, it's a factory silverware basket. It will probably break out at the bottom like my original one did because it is identical in design and construction. (That is the reason I only gave it 4 stars.)

fits
Fits my dishwasher just as it was supposed to. A replacement for original (5 years old) where the bottoms of the sections were broken and allowing silverware through. I have NEVER had this happen with any dishwasher utensil basket before. So, while this "works" there is something very cheaply made about it. I suspect this new basket will be no different.

Exact replacement.
It was exactly what I wanted. This was an exact replacement for my kitchen aid dishwasher even though it came in a different box.

Skybar WP0550 ONE 1-Chamber Wine Preservation System

Designed for a very specific (and small) market
I was trying to explain this product to my 77 year old mother over the phone. I told her that if someone opened some wine and didn't finish it this thing would keep it cold and ready to drink for days. She responded by saying 'Why don't they just put the box back in the fridge?" Obviously, the Skybar is not for her (plus, I'm pretty sure that she was pulling my leg.) If you don't get why someone would spend this much on what is basically a one-bottle refrigerator, then you probably don't need this either. However, if you take wine so seriously that your favorite vintage costs more per bottle than your first car did, then I don't need to explain it to you.

You don't have to be rich to be an oenophile (though it helps.) I had a wine cellar in the past and I had it filled with relativity modestly prices wines. No '45 Chateau Mouton Rothschild or '78 Montrachet in my cellar. Instead I had mostly domestic wines that I had either collected on my travels or had purchased...

Would really be good except for the NOISE NOISE NOISE NOISE NOISE
For a unit that is otherwise so well-designed, well thought-out, and well-executed, it is inconceivable to me that the team of executives bringing it to market would allow it to be done with such an OUTRAGEOUSLY NOISY single 80mm fan cooling the heatsink in the back of the unit. It is as loud as one of those handheld vacuum units most of us buy to clean up small messes in our homes - and I'm not exaggerating. Any time I enter the kitchen or the living room adjacent, or when I first come home and open the door, I am FLOORED by how loud this thing is. This unfortunate and ridiculous construction flaw makes it unacceptable for use in most people's homes, unless they are deaf or hosting parties with loud music to drown it out. Or perhaps, as the 2nd reviewer stated below, have it in a side room.

What I am about to write cannot be condoned by either Amazon or the manufacturer, and we must of course agree to hold them harmless (and me too, for that matter): if, like me, you...

Much Better Than Expected...The Perfect Bar Accessory!
I received the Skybar One single bottle wine dispenser for Christmas, and after six weeks of use I am extremely happy with it. First, I have not had any issues with the unit being too noisy. I have it sitting on a sidebar, just off the kitchen. People see it and pass it often in the house (usually to stop and refresh their glass!) and nobody has complained about the unit being noisy. It does have some fan noise, because it's a refrigerator after all, but unless I had it next to my bed (unlikely my wife would allow this) the noise is completely acceptable.

The operation is very straightforward. You select your wine type, or you can manually set the temperature. The dispenser attaches to the neck of the bottle. Not all bottle sizes will fit, but I have found that 95% do. It doesn't take long to figure out which oversized bottles are too tall for the machine. Once the bottle is inserted into the machine you close the door and the air is pumped out, preserving the...

MAGLITE ARXX195 MAG Charger 120 Volt AC Converter V2

Perfect replacement
After the original AC Converter failed (after 3 years) I worried I would have to replace the entire flashlight ($100+). This was the same converter as the original and for under $10 it worked perfectly.

Excellent product
It is a good product, it work very well. It is the I expectec and excellent cost, I recomended this product.

It works
There's not much to say about a charger, unless it doesn't charge. I had to replace this for my original one because it stopped charging. I was silly enough to toss the entire thing, which was a mistake, because I had to get the cord to hook it to the wall and the charger unit which is sold by itself. Maglite does have great customer service, so the only complaint I'd have would be that the original charger only lasted a couple years. I used the flash light a lot, so maybe that's the shelf life of the charger.

Polder 90636-90H Iron Rest

Doesn't fit!!
I guess it would work for some irons, but I have one of the Rowenta irons, and while I can lay the iron flat on the holder, when I do that the steam continues to come out. The Rowenta iron has rounded edges where I guess it's supposed to fit in the slot on the holder to make it stand partially upright, therefore stopping the steam until you start ironing again. So, it definitely DOES NOT WORK FOR ROWENTA IRONS.

Polder 90636-90H Iron Rest
I purchased this iron rest to hold my new steam generated iron and free up space on my ironing board. I could have bought a new board with the iron rest built on, but love the size and sturdiness of my old board. The iron rest attached easily and is very stable and strong, so I have no fear of it falling off.

Love it
I have peace of mind now that I place my hot iron on the iron rest after I finish ironing. It is also out of my way while I'm arranging garments onto the ironing board. It keeps me from accidently bumping the hot iron. I would buy it again.

Westinghouse Lighting 77023 Ceiling Fan Light Switch

Perfect
I used this switched to replace a broken light switch on my son's fan in his room. He had pulled the light chain too hard and broke the old switch. Took me about 3 minutes to install and worked like a charm!

It just works!
I have a Hunter ceiling fan that I installed more than 3 years ago. My wife told me that the light pull stopped working and I thought we would need to buy a new fan.

After doing some research online, I learned that the switch was most likely worn out (which is a common thing with Hunter fans per the online forum posts that I read). I have to admit that I was a little hesitant to make this purchase, because I was not sure if the switch was compatible with my fan, but apparently these things are pretty universal, because after turning off the power to the ceiling fan at the circuit box (very important), removing the light fixture from the fan, taking the old one out and putting this one in, I was back in business with a working ceiling fan light in about 45 minutes - 15 of which was spent looking for the right tools for the job.

This product was money very well spent and it is working exactly as designed.

Fan Light Switch
Ordered online because there are no stores within an hour of my home here in the rocky mountains.
It came quickly, worked perfectly and I can now turn my light on and off without unplugging it and turning off the fan which we use at night for circulation.
No problems, just as expected.

It is very well made with quality construction. I got this plug for an extension cord I connected to an outlet in a ceiling. I wanted the 90 degree angle so that the cord would follow along the ceiling without a hanging loop like a straight plug would do.

One big plus about this plug is that the prong section can be rotated 180 degrees (when disassembled) so you can change the direction of how you want it installed in the receptacle. This prevents it from interfering from anything else you have plugged into the receptacle, or if your receptacle is too close to another wall.

I attached it to a 12 gauge 3-wire electrical extension cord cable. The cable clamp on the plug does not have an insert to accommodate large or small cords. It is basically a one size fits some cables. It won't take anything larger than a 12 gauge cable though, and 12 gauge is really pushing it with this plug. I marked it down one star for the lack of a resizable cable clamp. Leviton makes...

Nice but if it had one feature it would be great
Just know that this has no 5 cent led to let you know your in a live plug. Other than that is is great to be able the angle the cord. And heavy so it stays tigh is the socket. All plugs should be this good

Full rotation allowed.
The plug is strongly built and best-of-all it allows full freedom of orientation of the cord with respect to the prongs - 360 degrees of rotation. Good product.

KRUPS KM611850 12-Cup Precision Coffee Maker with Glass Carafe, Black

Pretty Good Maker / Fantastic Coffee
Ok, the Krups KM611850 may not be perfect, but it is really good! As I see it there are two issues that are relatively minor, more like an inconvenience. These are offset by the fact that this unit makes the BEST cup of coffee that I have had at home in many years. The first issue is that the carafe has a slight lip on the inside where the glass & plastic lid come together, which does not lend itself to total drainage. The other issue is that the unit's lid may block total accessability to the spot where you need to fill the water tank on the right side with the crafe. This is easily remedied by pouring from the left side. Neither one of these points are a big issues. In fact some reviews made it sound like this unit was a dog due to these minute problems, when in fact both of which have easy fixes. My unit or carafe does not leak or dribble when I pour. The best part is that the coffee this unit makes is far SUPERIOR to anything I have had at home for a long while and its little...

smooth
I read some reviews on this machine and a couple talked about spilling. I don't get it!!! I never have problems with that either during filling the machine (which if you have a problem just use a big glass and use the water gauge) or my cup. This machine makes the best coffee of any drip machine i've ever owned hands down!!

Good coffee maker, but design needs improvement
This product arrived fast and was packed very well. The coffee maker has a few design flaws that need changing. The biggest problem is trying to pour the water into the small triangular-shaped area to brew the coffee. When you get to the bottom of the pot, you can't tip the pot enough to get all the water out into the brew container. Also, the coffee could be hotter when brewed. The manual suggests pouring cold water into the coffeemaker, then fill the pot with hot water and empty before putting the pot back on the burner to brew the coffee. Too much trouble!

Hamilton Beach Popcorn Popper

finally a winner!
This popper is awesome! It pops a full 1/2 cup and doesn't burn!! It's a little smaller than a stir crazy, but adjust popcorn to 1/2 cup (instead of 2/3) and you're good to go!I have shopped for a replacement for my ancient stir crazy for months. I bought 2 stir crazies and 2 orvilles and returned them all as defective...They don't get hot enough, but this one does.

Durable and easy to clean
My wife loves popcorn and we put this Hamilton Beach popper through a workout. We like to use coconut oil and this popper works great with very few unpopped kernels. It takes a couple practice tries to flip it over without losing the cap and getting steamed but design is fine.

Waste of effort
Terrible design! It gets too hot in the chamber while it is still popping un-popped kernels, so in the end, the popped popcorn tastes very dry and is, frankly, inedible. It's also very easy to burn the popcorn.

The worst part, however, is the design that has you flip over of the entire machine into the "bowl", which is the top clear portion of the machine. This is a fairly heavy device, so if your grip slips, get ready for popcorn everywhere! There is no way to lock the top bowl on to the bottom to prevent this from happening.

Breville BCI600XL Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker

A purchase that makes me smile to this day (a few tips in the review)
This Breville is a workhorse! I bought Jenis Splendid Ice Cream at Home book after I realized that the traditional egg based recipes weren't cutting it for my taste(I strongly urge others to do the same if ice cream is your thing).
This machine replaces my hardly used Kitchen Aid ice cream maker (the kind you freeze the bowl prior). We just didn't get along too well. I also like to make a few batches at a time which is prohibited by a bowl that needs a recharge after every use.
I was surprised how quiet this machine is in use. The controls are well thought out and it is built to Breville industrial-style standards. I found the included spatula useless and instead opted for a silicone spatula for removing finished product from blades and bowl.
Advice to those buying this machine - Shave off 30 minutes of churn time by first chilling the hot cream in a covered smaller metal bowl placed in an ice+water filled larger bowl for 30 minutes. This greatly reduces wear/tear on...

Could not be any better: best ice cream possible
First I have to say that I paid over $400 when I got this at Williams Sonoma so the prices, as of this review, on Amazon are stellar (or maybe it has just gone down since it's introduction a year ago).

I have reviewed several ice cream makers, always looking for the holy grail to find one of ease in making, but the golden nugget of taste. Nothing beats this. Nothing.

For many reasons.

First, even if you cook your ice cream base for a custard, this has a pre cooling stage to cool it down for you (don't use it otherwise if it's not warm or your ice cream will freeze too fast on the sides only and stop before it is supposed to.)

More importantly, this is the only one I have found that whips up ice cream just like commercial ice cream so that it does not become a brick once you put it in the freezer and want to eat some the next day. The air being whipped in is what makes grocery store ice cream so light and fluffy. Hard to get in most home...

Would have liked 2 quart for the size/weight of the machine
I can't say anything about reliability yet.

PRO:
It works, the controls are easy, it isn't overly noisy.

CON:
It is heavy and bulky - lifting it out of a lower cupboard isn't something you do casually, some grab handles would have been nice.
Not a huge capacity. At 1.5 quart (1 liter) maximum, you're making two tubs of ben and jerrys, maximum.
The bucket is neither dishwasher safe, nor do they recommend you put it in the freezer, or use anything metal to scoop from it. So you need a chilled container ready to transfer the desert after it is done. Although it does have a keep cool option if you know it'll all be eaten. 1.5 quart is what you start with but by the time you're done transferring, you've lost a bit more.
I think they could have been a bit more generous with the recipe booklet, but no matter there is always the internets.

This is the first ice cream / sorbet / gelato maker I've used. The rotary dial selects at what...

36 ELECTROLUX OXYGEN AND HARMONY CANISTER MICROFILTRATION VACUUM CLEANER BAGS

Not sure why anyone would by the electrolux bags for 10 times the price
I've been using these for a while now, and they work perfectly.

I'm very happy I found them since Electrolux is clearly in the business of ripping off their customers when it comes to supplies - and they make a very good vacuum - but they have no morals when it comes to selling you the bags you need to use their product.

Stock up! I've yet to find these any cheaper.

Mediocre bags at best.
I will be fair to the seller, these bags provide adequate performance with my electrolux. The problem is the are simply too thin, too much dust and particles get through. If you have light housekeeping, these bags will work just fine for your needs. If you have pets, kids, allergies, or respiratory problems I would advise you to try a different bag. Thus far the Electrolux anti-allergen bag has been great. Of course I am always looking for a good alternative. Again this is a good bag for light housekeeping, but that's all.

Good choice
Great price, Works great too, Easy fit into Electrolux Harmony EL6985B.
Recieved in 3 days.
