It's a silverware basket....
What can I say, it's a factory silverware basket. It will probably break out at the bottom like my original one did because it is identical in design and construction. (That is the reason I only gave it 4 stars.)

Fits my dishwasher just as it was supposed to. A replacement for original (5 years old) where the bottoms of the sections were broken and allowing silverware through. I have NEVER had this happen with any dishwasher utensil basket before. So, while this "works" there is something very cheaply made about it. I suspect this new basket will be no different.
Exact replacement.
It was exactly what I wanted. This was an exact replacement for my kitchen aid dishwasher even though it came in a different box.
