Makes absolutely no noise and is easy to lift.Easy to clean. Excellent grinding and chapati kneading. Would definitely recommend this product.

Able to prepare Idli/dosa/vada also allows to prepare pastry for roti / chappathi
Reduced noise, faster preparataion.
Get Idli rice / urad dal and wet it in water for 4- 5 hours to get very good pastry mix with little curd for USA climate.

Idly and dosa batter come out really well. Wish it was little bit less expensive.....Size is perfect for a 4-6 member family. Strongly recommend and buying through amazon made it so much better.
