2 Pack is awesome buy
This was an excellent buy!! I paid less for this 2 pack than one would have cost me at a local big box store.
The Truth
One reviewer suggests the wrong filter because the "P" is missing from the parts number. Amazon describes the box containing two (2) whirlpool filters with the part number, 4396508. This is correct! The box has the "P" with the numbers. Buying directly from Whirlpool shows exactly the same numbers. The other awkward chap claims the shipping packaging was torn. Before condemning anyone, did he/she examine the filter? Was it clean? Was it wet? Come on! How blamed stupid. If the things came intact what is your problem? If you are still paranoid about the filters being contaminated contact Amazon for replacements.
I received the wrong part number
I ordered 4396508P, but I received 4396508 (without "P"), which is a lower version of the filter I ordered. I paid more expensive to get a better filter, but I did not get it!
