Check your Dyson Warranty first
I bought this because my brush bar was mangled at one end and was making the brush bar vibrate too much causing the vacuum to vibrate and trip the shut-off...or so I thought. My problem turned out to be something other than the brush bar. After I had purchased this and replaced it, I turned the vacuum on for about 30 seconds only to have the same problem, ruining the new brush bar. After this happened I contacted Dyson and found out there is a 5 year warranty on my DC24. Within 5 minutes the Dyson technician pinpointed the problem and sent me a replacement vacuum head, free of charge. Having learned my lesson, I will contact Dyson in the future if I have problems rather than trying to fix the issue myself.
I am giving the product 5 stars based on the product, rather than my experience with my vacuum. The product itself is pretty similar to the Dyson one (the bristles on this generic one are slightly shorter than the OEM). Other than that, it fit perfectly in position...
Excellent product, exactly fit the Dyson
I had owned a Dyson and the roller brush had cracked with heavy use. I did a check and was happy to find I could get a replacement. I ordered the product and it arrived on time. It was easy to install and my vacuum cleaner was as good as new.

Part just as described, but not the correct part to fix my particular problem, I endd up having to contact dyson to fix it
