product did not work.
I ordered this air ourifier for my granddaughter, I had it shipped 2nd day. The outer box was to big for the air purifer box which slid around.
The tape on the purifier box had been opened. It was easy to take out. When I plugged the item in there was nothing, no lights, no display, no noise. Amazon will allow you to return it, replacement are not an option for this item. Homeimage requires that you send a check for $19.99 with the item and they have the option of repair or replace. I do not think the customer who bought your product should be charged a handling fee for your defective item. This is the first time I have ever had this problem with anything I have purchased from Amazon.
Early impressions (will be updated)
I get pretty sinus allergies sometimes, but never as bad since I moved to the area I'm in now. What sucks about the allergy (to dust, pollen or something else, I don't know what) is that not only does it make breathing through my nose difficult during the day, but it also prevents me from getting a good night's sleep; I wake up a lot and am always tired during the day.
I've never taken anything for them, and was just about to put myself on something, but decided to try this first since Amazon (for whatever reason) had decided to mark this down by about $200.
6/15/2012 - Inital Impressions Out Of Box:
I just got it today; easy to unpack and takes two minutes from box to power on. Does not include the two AAA batteries you need for the remote, so haven't tested that yet.
Manually turned it on as soon as I could. Should note that the blown air smelled strongly of plastic when I first opened it. Stopped after about 20 minutes, so I'm going to...

I loved it so much I had to buy two! Easy to clean, and decently quiet. I reccomened for any pet owner! You'll be surprised what the thing sucks in!
